Tea Detox Cleanse

Tea Detox Cleanse

Tea detoxing is a great way to get rid of some excess water weight and bloating, once every 6 months it is a good idea to try and drink 4-5 cups of different teas to detoxify your body.

While you are detoxing avoid processed foods, sugar, alcohol, gluten, and low-fat foods like low-fat milk that can actually promote weight gain instead of weight loss. Cutting out these types of foods will help boost your metabolism and help your body get rid of excess water.

Here are some of the teas and the time of the day each tea is suitable for you to take.

Breakfast Tea: Dandelion

Dandelion leaf or dandelion root tea is an herbal tea that can help improve your liver function, clear up your skin, promote better digestion, and lower blood pressure. Dandelion tea is a little bitter so ad a little honey to taste. Dandelion tea is a good detox tea to have along with your breakfast and you can have up to two cups per day.

Lunchtime Tea: Fennel Seed and Ginger Tea
